ELECTRONIC VOICE PHENOMENA (EVP)

  AILEEN WOURNOS

 

In January 2008 we were tasked with investigating 3 consecutive locations here in Port Orange by a film crew out of England that are making a miniseries about serial killers in the U.S. Our focus was on Aileen Wournos, the infamous prostitute serial killer who murdered at least 7 men and whom the award winning movie "Monster" was based on. What we captured surprised both the production team and ourselves in photo evidence, audio and video. Well, what did you expect? She DID say "I'll be back".

00:01 "He's boring" (taken at the "Happening's bar" little room while I talk about equipment)

00:01 "what, did you go get your camera to take pictures of me, Aileen?" (Taken at Happening's bar little room in back)

00:02 "Childhood? Baby you don't know half the story" (You'll need headphones for this one. Very weak but there. This was in response to Steph telling Aileen about her past that she researched)

00:02 "C'mon bitch ...no one would help me" (responding to Steph's offering to help at the Happening's bar little room in back

00:01 "The light" (As we were trying to see in the light of the little room behind the "Happenings bar under pitch black conditions)

00:04 "He won't listen" ("Happenings bar while I talk about lack of activity)

00:02 "Here is Aileen" (As I talk about her girlfriend Tye)

00:11 "That's all you see" (when I was using her girlfriend "Tye" as a means of provoking a response)

00:01 "I'm coming in....don't move" (Taken just before Stephanie's experience)

00:05 "I need to go home" (this is in correlation to the photos of investigator Stephanie being overwhelmed with emotions of anger and sorrow)

00:03 "Let her go" (right after Steph's encounter when I asked if she wanted a break or not)

00:02 "I said no" (responding to my question as to the reasons for the murders)

00:03 "I want beer" (taken at Last Resort bar as investigators were setting beer on bar to provoke response)

00:01 "You people leave us alone" (male voice with southern accent caught at Happenings bar)

00:03 "Look...please don't talk to me like we know each other........alright?" (Taken at Happening's bar little back room as Steph tries to relate to her)

00:04 "Thank you for telling me" (very sarcastic response to me instructing her on how we conduct EVP sessions)

00:02 "Okay" (when asked to make a noise, give us a sign)

00:02 "Just my appearance?" (At Fairview motel room #8 trying to get a sign of her presence)

00:02 "just leave" (investigator Elizabeth trying to focus on Aileen's emotional side at Fairview Motel)

00:09 "Cute picture" (in response to photo I had on wall at Fairview motel room #8 of Aileen as a child)

00:01 "Tell me who's here" (an inquiry as to the names of those present at the Fairview motel?)

00:01 "This is Troy” (taken at Fairview motel room #8. Troy Burgess was one of Aileen’s victims D.O.M. 7.30.90)
